The audience included the British artist Maggi Hambling and also Roger Keyes, the leading Hokusai scholar, both of whom contributed to the documentary. After the screening there was a well-deserved round of applause for Patricia Wheatley, Head of Broadcast at the British Museum, who directed the film.
