A special event exclusive to cinemas, Manifesto: Live from Tate Modern, was broadcast live by satellite to venues across the UK on 15 November. Starring Academy Award-winner Cate Blanchett, the film pays homage to the moving tradition and literary beauty of artistic manifestos with Blanchett inhabiting thirteen different personas. The event included a special introduction featuring Blanchett, followed by a screening of the film and rounded off by live on-stage conversation at Tate Modern with the director Julian Rosefeldt and editor Bobby Good, moderated by arts journalist and writer Jessica Lack (author of Why Are We ‘Artists’? 100 World Art Manifestos).
The film has received fantastic reviews and is on general release from 24 November 2017. More info at manifestothefilm.com
